today i was checking my car, and i noticed a whine noise somewhere around the tranny. i was thinking that it might be the clucth bearing but i am not sure.
anyone know, if a clucth bering go off, does it make whine noise at idle and on neutral.

It used to squeak when the clucth is press in/out. i took it to the dealer and took care of that.
i was trying to spot the noise and it seems to come from the tranny area so thats why i thought it coulc be the bearing of the clucth. It soundfs like a ratating whining noise. But so far, engaging gears is good but seems that i need to slip the cluth at firts gear in other to make the car move.

possibly...when's the last time u changed/checked your trans fluid? trans with low mtf have a slight rubbing/whiny sound when idling....but it could well be your t/o..
any noises by clutch in/out the clutch pedal?
